Hi - I'm Matt. I've spent years looking at the best ways to learn the piano and I am proud to introduce POW Piano to you and your children.

If you're thinking of whether or not to commit to piano lessons for your children, I'll start you off with my honest thoughts about what it has given me...

When I was at primary school I always liked brain-teasing challenges, codes, clues, detective-work and that sort of thing. When I started learning the piano,
I had no concept whatsoever of the phenomenal number of skills it was going to help me develop.

For someone born in the UK, it's like learning Japanese from scratch and simultaneously translating the written version into British sign-language. Your reward for doing it? An infinite combination of songs, moods, styles and feelings that will add a whole other dimension to someone's life. The brain-training and discipline this gives you is incredible.

Of course, you can't learn it all at once, but the exercises that help you get there are just like those brain-teasing challenges I was on about: enjoyable, addictive and insanely satisfying.

I couldn't emphasise enough quite how special I think the piano is. It'll teach concentration and focus, give you instant feedback and astonish everyone who sees you play. The benefits for your mind and your health are completely without doubt.

Take a look at what I offer with Pow Piano...

No Piano?
No Problem

If you chose, the full POW Piano package can also include a full-length Piano (88 weighted keys) with stand, stool and headphones.

Also available is the option to add an Amazon Fire notebook. Using this allows for recording of precision videos to help with key parts of the week's practice. It's a perfect combination of face-to-face learning with all the modern tech benefits thrown in too.

The cost of this is spread across the first year of lessons and is yours to keep forever...

The cost of POW Piano lessons varies slightly depending on days and venues. Take a look below and see what suits you!

Pow Piano Lessons - Fees

Lessons take place on Monday and Tuesday between 3pm and 7pm, but you can always chat to me about other times.

A standard lesson lasts 30 minutes but times can be adjusted up or down if it helps fit in with other clubs and commitments. All fees are based on 48 lessons per year.

Home Visit

The most convenient way for parents is usually for me to visit you for a lesson at your house.

Children receive expert teaching and musicianship, with learning adjusted completely to personal needs and preferences.

£28 per 30 minutes

Best Value

The most cost-effective way for lessons is on the baby-grand piano at my house in Stratford upon Avon, close to the Church Lane turning towards Shottery.

Children receive expert teaching and musicianship, with learning adjusted completely to personal needs and preferences.

£25 per 30 minutes

+ Extras

Having researched the best value piano setup for those starting from scratch, my choice balances quality and cost.  I do not aim to make a profit on these extras.

For Piano, stand, headphones and stool, add £5.50 per lesson.

For Piano, stand, headphones, stool and Amazon Fire tablet, add £7 per lesson.

After 1 year of tuition, these items are yours to keep

Try a Pow Piano Challenge...

If you have a piano at home, have a go at these challenges and see how you get on. If you want some help, you can get a trusted grown-up to send me a message. Pow Piano use Amazon Fire tablets as video notebooks so that you can see exactly what you need to do each week using videos just like these....

When you're a parent of a child learning an instrument, it can be really difficult when your child needs help but you don't know how...

...just send Matt a WhatsApp and he'll answer it for you.
