It's never too late to be what you might have been...
George Eliot
Learning to play the piano later in life is a wonderful way to keep your mind sharp, your fingers nimble, and your soul enriched.
Why Now?
'Now is the perfect time'
Piano lessons with Matt provide a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, discover new talents, and revisit cherished songs tailored to you. Plus, it's a beautiful way to connect with others, whether you're entertaining family or simply enjoying a quiet moment of creativity. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning after years away, now is the perfect time to start.
No piano? No problem
Lessons are weekly and usually taken in 30 or 60 minute chunks - whatever you prefer. Fees are based on £25 for a 30 minute lesson.

Need a Piano?
If you do need a piano, Matt has done the reserach to get a quality, space conscious and best value instrument available. Breaking the cost of this down over weekly lessons can break down the outlay to about £5 per week.

Beyond the Norm
Learning with Matt goes beyond a regular piano 'lesson'. Matt can create precision skills videos on demand to help you along.
Twenty years of school teaching and leadership allow for the ultimate in flexibility, adapting to all levels of need.
You can have confidence that you are receiving the highest quality tuition that will deepen your love of music.

A Love of Music
'Lessons' conjures a very traditional image.
I am more than happy to teach and develop the skills of students, but often, spending 30 minutes exploring the music, discussing, playing a duet, and sharing anecdotes and experiences is where the real value lies.
I aim for everyone to feel that they have gone beyond a 'lesson' and genuinely improved their well-being through our sessions.
